Ron Perusi is a self-taught woodcarver who started his craft when he was a boy scout in the 1960’s. Since then, he has done all facets of woodworking—including furniture and cabinets.

Ron discovered CNC woodworking in 2009 and started creating all manner of custom, one of a kind items such as signs, plaques, jewelry boxes, custom cabinet doors, shadowboxes and furniture with his CNC machine. Although he still does hand carving, he has found a new love in CNC.

Ron’s woodcarving shop is located in Waynesville, NC, the heart of the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains where he lives with his wife Lorry. Ron and Lorry have 3 grown children.

When he isn’t creating beautiful woodcarvings for customers, he spends his time as an active member of the Boy Scouts and teaches the scouts woodworking as well.
